⎯⎯⎯ HOW IT WORKS
Three things from the book. Zero brain power required.
This isn't a program and it isn't a container. It's the three most actionable things from Congratulations, You're the Problem, lifted out of the chapters and rebuilt into something you can genuinely do with no energy, no motivation and no plan.
⚡︎ Regulate the nervous system
⚡︎ Build your Unfuck Yourself Menu
⚡︎ Spin the Slutty Life Admin Wheel

⎯⎯⎯ how it works?
annoyingly, it's backed by science
Which surprised me too. I built this thing out of spite and Fireball and it turns out it's accidentally propped up by real research, so let me ruin the magic for a second. Decision fatigue is real, choosing between tasks burns actual mental fuel, and when every option feels equally urgent your brain doesn't pick one, it freezes and opens TikTok. For a lot of us, starting is the broken part, not doing. The wheel amputates the decision entirely: there's nothing to weigh up, nothing to rank, no thirty-two billion tasks to betray. Fate said shower. You were never asked, and you can't lose a negotiation you weren't invited to.
The casino thing isn't a bit either, unpredictable rewards hook the brain harder than scheduled ones, which is why pokies print money, and your dopamine spikes while the wheel is still spinning rather than when you get the prize. Mixing treats in with the chores has a name too: temptation bundling, pairing a thing you dread with a thing you want. Scientists use it to get people to the gym; we're using it to get the donation bag out of your boot. And the tapping has its own stack of randomised trials and meta-analyses showing genuine drops in anxiety and stress, including measurable cortisol, researchers still argue about which part does the work, and I genuinely do not care as long as it takes minimal effort.
Then there's my favourite one, the Zeigarnik effect: your brain loops unfinished tasks on repeat like a song you hate, which is why you're exhausted before you've done anything. The loop shuts up the moment the task is written somewhere your brain trusts. It doesn't need it done, it just needs to know it's handled. The wheel is the handled place. So yes, a stupid spinning wheel is decision science, a pokie machine, temptation bundling and cognitive offloading but my stupid little way. Your brain loves stupid.
